All gymnasts at our Club are affiliated to British Gymnastics.
This gives them various privileges, not least, insurance cover. Although gymnastics could be regarded as a dangerous sport, it need not be. With proper precautions being taken and under the supervision of qualified coaches, it can be a most enjoyable sport.
We currently only participate in one of the gymnastic disciplines:
Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, which involves working with apparatus (bars, beam, floor and vault), forms the bulk of our membership. This is perhaps the branch of the sport that most people are familiar with.
